Welcome to the AAVC's Online Community for Alumnae/i. Membership in the community is FREE.

• Alumnae/i Directory: Use the Alumnae/i Directory to locate and contact classmates, immediately update your address, employment, and other information on file with Vassar and post a photo of yourself or your family.

• Permanent Email (Forwarding) Address: Set up your permanent email address to promote your Vassar affiliation (@alum.vassar.edu) and your emails will automatically be forwarded to the email account you specify, so that if you change jobs or email providers, all you have to change is your destination email address.

• Class eNotes: Post a class note online (with a photo!), announcing your new job, marriage, baby, book, etc., or just to let your classmates know what you are up to these days. Class eNotes will also appear in each class website.

• Career Mentoring and Networking (V-NET): Become a mentor to other alumnae/i and students seeking career advice or search for other mentors with whom you can network in your field or locale.

• Job and Résumé Posting and Searching: Search for jobs or résumés posted by other Vassar alumnae/i employers and/or other peer institutions, or post your company’s job opportunities or your own résumé.

• Business-to-Business Networking (Alumnae/i Yellow Pages): Find products and services advertised by fellow alumnae/i and members from other communities and use this tool to post your own listing to promote your products or services.

• Classifieds and Discussion Groups: Talk to fellow alumnae/i about topics of interest to you (hobbies, professions, etc.), search for apartments for rent or items for sale, or post your own classifieds to find a roommate or sell your belongings.

• Access to Class, Club, and Affiliate Group Websites: Visit your class website to find out what your fellow classmates are doing or to communicate with your class officers and explore the club and/or affiliate group websites to locate groups in your area or with similar interests.
