Leave Your Legacy at Western!
The brick walkways of WWU are a timeless part of Western’s history and character. For current students they represent the epicenter of campus life, and for many alumni they are a memory that has stayed with them long past the titles of their textbooks. Seize this opportunity to cement your name (or the name of a loved one) into the university's history as you are forever placed into Western’s historic Memory Walk.
Memory Walk Brick Program
Proceeds from the Memory Walk Brick Program go directly to support students and alumni through scholarships and programming. If Western has made an impact on you or someone you love, your purchase of a brick for only $100 secures the way for future generations to walk the way of WWU.

Western Memory Walk
Western’s historic Memory Walk, located in front of Old Main, contains time capsules from Western graduating classes dating back to 1912. Included as a part of the Memory Walk’s footprint are over 3000 bricks with the names of alumni and Western supporters who have walked the same pathways at WWU. Today, as tradition, upon the completion of every commencement ceremony new graduates deposit their student ID cards and other memorabilia into this capsule so a piece of themselves always stays in Bellingham.
