DPW-ADC's first ever Winter Dance Festival brought together alumni and over 100 dancers to raise money for the chapter and the newly announced Barbara J. Lappano Dance Scholarship.  Over 400 people attended the concert held on January 24, 2009 in Asplundh Hall on the campus of West Chester University.  More than $3000 was raised through ticket and raffle sales at the event!  DPW-ADC officers extend a heartfelf thank you to all alumni who came together to participate in and support the event!

Members of DPW-ADC should watch their inboxes in early September for an invitation to participate in the 2nd edition of the Winter Dance Festival.  Audition DVDs will be due November 2, 2009.

Our alumni group was formed in the spring of 2007 specifically for those who participated in the dance programs of West Chester University.

Our goals are to:

• Promote the University's current dance programs on campus and within the greater West Chester community;
• Present scholarships and/or awards to deserving student dancers; and
• Provide a social network for alumni who participated in any University dance programs.
