…with your local Vanderbilt Chapter

Suggest a venue: Do you know of a trendy new venue or an up and coming area? Have a favorite hang-out that other Vandy alumni and friends may enjoy? Let us know.

Plan an event:  We would like to offer a variety of programs to our local alumni and friends, but we need your help! If you have a great idea and would like to help us make it happen, please let us know.

Help with an Educational event: Are you an expert in your field, or do you know someone who is? We’re always looking for educational opportunities for our Chapters. Let us know if you or a friend might be interested in giving a lecture, leading a tour, or participating in an educational event by contacting alumni@vanderbilt.edu.

Represent Vanderbilt: Are you interested in increasing awareness of Vanderbilt in your area? Represent Vanderbilt at college fairs, interview prospective students, and help to welcome incoming students from your area.  Let us know if you would like to be involved with student recruitment efforts.

VU Alumni Career Network through VUconnect – Vanderbilt’s online community for alumni and students

*Build valuable relationships with alumni in your field and across several industries.
*Share career experience and advice with alumni and students.

Student/Alumni Programs: Share your real-world knowledge and career advice with students. Volunteer for Student/Alumni programs – such as informal “family” dinners with alumni and students, career or graduate school panels to share your valuable perspective, and much more. Programs are held on-campus and in Chapter cities.

Students want to hear how you’ve used your Vanderbilt degree to get to where you are today. To be part of these vital programs, contact alumni@vanderbilt.edu or call us at 615.322.2042.
