Welcome to the web page for the Nashville Chapter of the Vanderbilt Alumni Association. Our group is open to any Vanderbilt alumni, graduate or undergraduate, living in the Nashville area. Home to almost 20,000 alumni, Nashville boasts the largest chapter of the Vanderbilt Alumni Association worldwide.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for alumni and friends to reconnect with Vanderbilt through social and educational events. Some of those events take place at Vanderbilt properties such as the Dyer Observatory, and others are hosted at local restaurants or cultural institutions. No matter the location, a common interest in and memories of Vanderbilt connect our group. You'll find our chapter hosting happy hours, putting on educational events, getting together for viewing parties and hosting purely social activities. There's even a special group within the Nashville chapter for alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years - Graduates Of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D).
To stay connected with our chapter, make sure your contact information in VUconnect is up-to-date. We rely on emails, and the occasional direct mail piece, to inform alumni about our events. We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to get involved with our chapter; we are run entirely by volunteers who, like you, share a connection to Vanderbilt. Just drop me an email and I will contact one of our volunteer co-chairs who will be back in touch soon with information.
We appreciate your interest in the Nashville Chapter of the Vanderbilt Alumni Association and hope to see you at one of our events.
