After moving to Raleigh from New York City in 2006, one of the first things I did was look up other Vanderbilt alumni in the area. Our chapter officially formed in December 2007, and we currently have over 1000 alumni in the area.
The Raleigh-Triangle area offers several great options for our chapter to network with each other, give back to the community, and enjoy cheering on our Dores. We aim to offer a variety of activities during each year, and always welcome feedback you have about future events you would like to see our chapter host. Past events include Durham Bulls games, a portraiture lecture and wine dinner at the North Carolina Art Museum, a Salvation Army community service project, and Vanderbilt sports viewing parties.
Our chapter's events are open to any Vanderbilt undergraduate alumni, alumni from Vanderbilt graduate programs, parents of alumni, parents of current students, and friends of Vandy. I look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming Raleigh-Triangle Chapter events.
