Deanna (Johann) Spraw (2000)
Deanna (Johann) Spraw (2000) writes, "Dear Alumni Oiler Athlete,

A message from our UF student intern for Career Athletes - Bridget Messaros.

Do you want to help current student athletes solidify their future? You can by becoming a Career Athlete and give current student-athletes advice about the field that you are in now. Having connections with individuals such as yourself can be vital to a current student athlete as they enter the working world. Great connections can be vital for students and you are the perfect person for athletes to connect with. Someone that understands the workload that come with being a student athlete and how traits you learn by being on a team through college relates to the working world.

By going on to www.careerathletes.com and creating a profile you would be opening doors for student-athletes. You can create a profile under alumni athlete or as a mentor. A mentor is one that is willing to create a relationship on a more personal level with current athletes. One who is willing to advise a mentee and answer the questions they may have with the field that you are currently employed. Once you have created your account you can start connecting with current athletes on the Findlay network.

The best part I haven’t mentioned yet is this service is completely Free! All Career Athletes wants to do is aid student athletes and give them a better chance of being found in the working world and their classroom achievements to be praised as much as their achievements on the courts.

If you have any further questions feel free to contact me at messarosb@findlay.edu.

Earl Fletcher (1975) writes, "Hello Findlay College.

I would like to hear from the folks that were at Findlay from 1971 through about 1978. It has been 37 years since I graduated and because of this "social network" hopefully, I can renew contact with those that were so instrumental in my life, both socially and professionally.
