About Us The Penn Alumni Club of San Antonio was first chartered in 1995 by a loyal group of South Texas alumni. Eric Riester was our first president. Rhonda Boyles took over leadership following Eric's untimely passing. Bob Weidman succeeded Rhonda in 2004 and is our current president. Membership is open to all Penn alumni in San Antonio and the surrounding areas of South Texas. We hold monthly informal luncheons, celebrate Ben Franklin's Birthday annually, sponsor a freshman sendoff each summer, and encourage social and professional networking. We plan to reestablish a Secondary School Committee to help interview potential applicants for Penn. Our numbers are growing, and we'll be adding more new ideas for activities. Come and join us!
