The civil marriage took place in the marriage hall of the city of Koenigstein and the catholic marriage was held in St. Michael's church at Koenigstein-Mammolshain. Approximately 100 guests attended the service.

"We were married in a holiday setting in beautiful Healdsburg. Jodie Siljeg (2004) was my maid of honor and Darci (Partridge) Craig (2003) was one of my bridesmaids.
We honeymooned in Hawaii and will spend our first anniversary in Carmel, CA.

Susan (Gilbaugh) Ross (1999, BS )
Joining her father (John Gilbaugh, '67) at a UOAA Southern California chapter happy hour at McCormick & Schmick‚s in downtown Los Angeles, Susan Gilbaugh never imagined meeting her future husband. However, it was there that she met William Ross, better known as Grier. Grier graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Grier now works as a commercial lender at Comerica Bank in Los Angeles and also serves as the current president for the UOAA Southern California chapter. Susan graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in Exercise and Movement Science and in 2001 with an M.S. in EMS as well. She has worked as a pharmaceutical representative in the Los Angeles area since graduating.

Their first date was on Valentine’s Day in 2002, and just over two years later, they got engaged while vacationing in Hawaii. On April 9th, 2005, Susan and Grier said “I Do” among a sea of family, friends, and Oregon Ducks. The wedding ceremony was held at Holy Family Church in South Pasadena, California. A lively reception followed at The Athenaeum Club at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, where Mr. and Mrs. Ross entered the reception to “Mighty Oregon.” Among the guests were many UO Alumni, including several of Susan’s family members, long-time Duck friends of the father of the bride, many of Grier’s friends and Phi Delta Theta fraternity brothers, and Susan’s classmates and friends from the UO track team. Following a honeymoon in the Caribbean, Susan and Grier are happy at home in Brentwood, CA.

Natalie (Ballard) Strauhal '99 married Matthew Strauhal in October on the Oregon Coast. The couple accepted offers to teach in Ecuador and will spend two years teaching in Quito.
