Greg pastors a local church and Sally manages the Pastoral Care team at Immanuel Med Center. Their (special needs) daughter Kristen (26) lives with them while son Jesse (29) remains out in (west) Seattle.

There aren't many Ducks here so keeping in touch is important! "

Returning home as a High School Life & Career Guidance High School Teacher/Counselor. There is no better way to come full circle in your life until you are ready and willing to give back to the community that has given you so much. Of course, I have to first take care of my high school... next is the big UO. I can't wait to go back to Eugene and give back to UO what it has so graciously provided for me over the years.

David Hill (1991) writes, "After leaving Oregon in 1991 I returned to UK where I represented my Country in Modern Pentathlon. I started work in 1992 - 1998 for Rank Organisation where I attained deputy General Manager position.

In April 1998 I was married to Julie and then left the UK to work in UAE as General Manager at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel overseeing the opening of the Wild Wadi waterpark and leisure operations of this 600 bedroom hotel.

In late 1999 Julie and I started our own company and worked in Interim Management services which was successful until i was approached by Marriott International to move back into hotels in 2001 to work on their flag ship hotel the JW Marriott Hotel Cairo as Director of Leisure, before taking on the added responsibilty for the resorts loss prevention following 9/11.

In late 2004 I was promoted to Country Director Loss Prevention for Marriott properties in Kuwait and in May 2005 was given the added responsibilty of Director of Rooms Operations for the Courtyard by Marriott in Kuwait city a 305 bedroom property in the heart of down town Kuwait city."

Ann Notthoff '76 is the California Advocacy Director for the Natural Resources Defense Council in San Francisco. She earned her master's in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley in 1985. Her husband, Dwight Holing '76, is a widely published nature writer. They have been married for twenty-three years and have two nearly grown children.

Longtime Girl Scout volunteer Frances "Fran" (DeVos) Styles '48 of Point Loma, California, has been named one of "10 Cool Women" for 2005 by the Girl Scouts of San Diego-Imperial Council. The honor is conferred to role models who sucessfully balance work, family, friends, and service.
