Welcome!
The Oklahoma City/Norman Chapter of the University of Oklahoma Black Alumni Society and Friends invites the nearly 2,000 African American graduates in the Oklahoma City and Norman areas , and friends of the University of Oklahoma, to join our efforts to make a difference in the lives of African American students attending the University of Oklahoma, African American alumni, and to promote the needs and interest of the University of Oklahoma.

Our OUBASF Chapter’s Executive Committee is composed of the following individuals:

- Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Scholarship Golf Tournament Chair: Michael Tisdale, B.A., Sociology (OU, 1974)
- Member-At-Large: Glenn L. Brooks, M.A., Sociology (OU, 1972)

Since 1997, our OUBASF Chapter has sponsored the Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Scholarship Golf Tournament at the University of Oklahoma Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Norman. Proceeds from the Golf Tournament have allowed the Chapter to award 93 scholarships totaling $147,800 ($63,800 in cash awards and $84,000 in tuition waivers).
