Our webpage has the most up to date information on the OU KC Club, including information on the Club, Game Day/Events, Membership, Message Board, and more. Updates shall be located below this section, followed by standard information sections.
OU CLUB OF KC UPDATE APRIL 20, 2008

Membership: 2008 Membership Dues Drive has just begun. Contact Earleen Parks or Ted Chael for details, forms, etc.
Scholarships: We care currently accepting scholarship applications from Kansas City area students for our two OU Club of KC scholarships for the upcoming Fall 2008/Spring 2009 semesters.
OU CLUB OF KANSAS CITY
Our goal is to provide a common link to friends, fans, and alumni of the University of Oklahoma. We host Watch Parties for football & basketball, and sponsor speakers from both the academic and athletic areas of the University. Our primary purpose is to provide scholarship assistance to OU students from the greater Kansas City area. We are always excited for local students who chose our University and greatly appreciate those who can provide assistance to them. Your club dues provide a significant contribution to the scholarship fund, and additional, tax-deductible donations are always appreciated.
We welcome input from our KC Club members as well as inquiries and attendance from non-members and/or alumni & fans visiting the Kansas City area. Please contact President Earleen Parks (ECParks@alumni.ou.edu, 913-681-1233) with your ideas, comments, and inquires.

Committees: We still need volunteers for the Committees. Please give some thought to a small contribution of your time to OU and our KC Club to participate on a committee of other volunteers.

OU CLUB OF KC ACTIVITIES
Activities/events scheduled by the Club shall appear on this website (http://alumni.ou.edu/clubs/). Anyone w/unused game tickets can make them a tax-deductible donation to the OU Club of Greater KC. Please contact me Earleen Parks (ECParks@alumni.ou.edu, 913-681-1233) for additional information.
We have a standing Watch Party bar & grill, Wallaby's (9562 Lackman, Lenexa, KS, 913-541-9255), where we welcome fans for all OU games and hold raffles and/or silent auctions for prizes to raise some money for our scholarship fund.
2008/2009 Ideas: Your Activities Committee is making plans for some events and wants your input. Please contact the Activities Committee Chairs, Dave & Anne Thompson (arbuckler@yahoo.com, 913-897-6911) with your ideas for activities, fund raising, networking, etc.
Other Sooner Watch Groups: The goal of the OU Alumni Club of Kansas City is to provide a common link to friends, fans, and alumni of the University of Oklahoma. We recognize that given the large expanse of the Kansas City metro, other groups of Sooner fans also get together to watch games. They may not be specifically affiliated w/the Club, but they are HUGE Sooner fans. The OU Club of Kansas City encourages you to go support your Sooners w/any of the groups. If you have a standing group or want to start one, let us know so we can post it here for all to see. Additionally, we would hope to converge together for some game and/or non-game events as well.
