Club of Colorado
The OU Club of Colorado is a support group of the University of Oklahoma. Membership is open to alumni, friends and supporters of the University of Oklahoma in the greater Denver metro and Rocky Mountain region.
The purpose of the OU Club of Colorado is to provide fellowship for alumni and friends of OU, and be a conduit to connect the local alumni body and friends of the University to the greater Sooner nation. The OU Club of Colorado also works closely with other alumni organizations particularly those of other Big 12 schools here in Colorado to promote community service and sportsmanship. We welcome you, your friends and associates to join the Club for a very nominal membership fee (tax deductible) that includes complimentary OU gear!
Our main goal is to provide an annual academic scholarship to a graduating senior from Colorado. Funds for the scholarship come from membership dues and tax-deductible donations from our members. They are matched dollar for dollar by the University, effectively doubling our scholarship amount. If you know of anyone from Colorado who is attending OU and would like to apply for a partial scholarship, please have him or her call Andrew Wertz (405)325-2787 for an application.
The OU Club of Colorado holds its watch parties at Jackson’s All-American Sports Grill in downtown Denver, at 1520 20th Street, across the street from Coors Field. As the OU Club of Colorado has grown, we have received additional space, and seating at Jackson’s Sports Grill.
