The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Alumni Association Awards were created to give recognition to those alumni and members of the administration, faculty or staff who have been outstanding in their service to the university or in their career accomplishments.
With over 50,000 UMass Dartmouth alumni worldwide, we’re relying on you, our constituents, to help us identify the outstanding members among us. Help us shine the spotlight this year by nominating a deserving alumna/us or a member of the UMass Dartmouth administration, faculty or staff.
· Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award
Awarded to a dynamic and purposeful alumni volunteer leader whose loyal, unselfish, and consistent service to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the Alumni Association has enhanced the reputation and furthered the mission of the University.
· Alumni Association Achievement Award
Presented to an alumna/us, who, because of distinguished stature in a chosen profession, has attained great respect on a local as well as regional level and whose notable achievements have not only had a strong impact on their field and brought personal recognition as a leader in their profession, but also enhanced the reputation of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
· Alumni Association University Service Award
Recognizes a current or past member of the administration, faculty or staff whose service has contributed significantly to the success of and further enhanced the reputation and mission of the Alumni Association.
Alumni Association Young Alumni Award
Celebrates the achievement of an alumna/us, who has graduated within the past 10 years, whose exceptional achievements in career, public service or volunteer activities bring honor to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
To submit a nomination for any of these four awards, download the Nomination Form or contact the Alumni Relations Office and one will be mailed to you. Nomination forms for the four Alumni Association Awards and supporting documentation must be received in the Alumni Relations Office by August 17, 2012.
