Stuff for Students
We know. You're not alumni...yet. But The University of Houston Alumni Association has a lot to offer students. Here's a quick rundown:
Scholarships
In 2008, UHAA gave out $180,000 in scholarships to incoming students, current undergraduate students, and current graduate students. Applying takes nothing more than a few minutes of your time, so check out our scholarship page.
Student Alumni Connection (SAC)
SAC serves to connect students, alumni, and the community by cultivating tradition, pride, and spirit at the University of Houston. SAC members coordinate and participate in a wide variety of university and alumni programs, and as such, they are privy to special opportunities for networking with alumni.

The Official UH Class Ring
Have 70 hours from UH? Order your class ring now and flash it in front of jealous underclassmen.
The official class ring adorns the interlocking UH logo atop. The right shank presents the university seal—a variation of Sam Houston’s coat of arms—that features flanked martlets, two greyhounds, and a winged hourglass with the motto “In Time” above it. The wearer’s graduation year is also featured on this side. The left shank bears the wearer’s degree, a facade of the Ezekiel Cullen Building, and the university’s founding date, 1927. Rings are available in either yellow or white gold with options like antique finishes and diamond settings. Tradition dictates that current students wear the ring facing inward. Only alumni should wear the ring with the logo facing outward.
