SUMMARY:Fall Ring Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:So many University of Houston traditions reside in the hearts of students and alumni\, but the UH class ring is the only tradition that is always with you. The ring is presented each semester at a formal ring ceremony. Tradition dictates that current students must wear the ring facing inward\, with only alumni wearing the ring facing outward.
\n
\n The UH class ring is a symbol of your academic success at this University. Students who have completed 70 hours or more and are in good standing with the University are eligible to purchase their ring. The Official UH class ring will serve as a lifelong connection to the University of Houston. Rings can be viewed and purchased at the Athletics/Alumni Center (Rm 201).
\n
\n Each spring and fall semester\, the University of Houston Alumni Association hosts the Official Ring Ceremony. Eligible students are invited for a personal presentation of the ring by a University official. Following the ceremony\, UHAA also hosts a reception for ring recipients and their families and friends.
\n
\n You will receive and invitation for the date for which you should RSVP. Those with a last name beginning with the letters A-K should register for December 10th. Those with a last name beginning with the letters L-Z should register for December 11th.
\n
\n Please list any special accomodations and the names of your guests in the "Guests and Special Accomodations" box. The maximum number of guests per person is 3.
