DESCRIPTION:\n You're invited to join the University of Houston Alumni Association as we host our 56th Annual Awards Dinner. As always\, it will be an incredible evening\, honoring an amazing group of alumni and friends of the University of Houston. The dress code is black tie.  
 \n   Reception and Auction : 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. 
 \n   Dinner and Program : 7:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M

 \n Distinguished Alumni Awards:  The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes and honors alumni who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments and careers have brought credit to the University of Houston.

 \n Distinguished Service Awards : The Distinguished Service Award recognizes the exceptional loyalty and leadership of alumni volunteers and their efforts to further the goals and support the programs of the University of Houston Alumni Association (including UHAA Board of Directors\, Constituent Associations\, Area Clubs and General UHAA and UH involvement.

 \n   Chair’s Award:  The Chair’s Award recognizes and honors non-alumni who have consistently and voluntarily given extraordinary support to the University of Houston.

 \n Outstanding Volunteer Award:  The outstanding volunteer award recognizes an alumnus or alumna who exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism giving generously of his or her time to advance the mission of the University of Houston Alumni Association.

 \n Rising Star Award for Service:  Given to an alumnus 37 or younger for demonstrated service above and beyond that of their peers. Recognizes efforts made by age 35. 
 \n  Katie Kalenda Daggett (’99\, MA ’03)  
 \n Rising Star Award for Achievement : Given to an alumnus 37 or younger for demonstrated achievement in their field above and beyond that of their peers. Recognizes achievements attained by age 35.
