Mission Statement and Officers
The Austin UH Club is an area club associated with The University of Houston Alumni Association. Membership in UHAA automatically results in membership in the Austin UH Club; therefore, participation in Austin UH Club events is highly recommended. The Austin UH Club exists to support the University of Houston, UHAA, the Houston Athletics Foundation, and UH alumni in the Austin area. All activities are designed to promote the Cougar pride of the Austin area members and help gain awareness of the aforementioned institutions.
Opportunities for involvement include new student recruitment, group travel or seating at Cougar sporting events, game watching parties, and opportunities to meet and network with other area alumni, UH administrators, and visiting academics. Anyone from the greater Austin area who supports the University of Houston is welcome to join the Austin UH Club.
