Mission Statement and Officers

Strengthening and supporting the relationship among NSM alumni, NSM undergraduates, and the University of Houston. Our vision: The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Alumni Association is a University of Houston alumni association committed to strengthening the relationship between alumni and UH and to advancing the interest and promoting the welfare of UH.

Interested in getting more involved with the NSM Alumni Association? We currently have openings on the NSMAA Board. Requirements for board members:

• Graduate of the College of Natural Science and Mathematics
• Current member of The University of Houston Alumni Association
• Able to attend monthly board meetings, usually held on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Athletics/Alumni Building
• Willingness to participate by sharing their time and ideas to further the goals of the NSMAA
  

NSMAA Scholarships

For the 2008-2009 school year, we awarded over $58,000 in scholarships to qualified students in all six departments. Applications can be obtained through both the NSM and UHAA websites. The next deadline is March 23, 2009.
