Q: How can I join UHAA?
There are five easy ways to contact us and join UHAA:

Q: Who can join UHAA?
Membership to UHAA is open to all current and former students of any of the 10 University of Hawaii campuses and to all members of the community who want to show their support for UH.

Q: How do I get in touch with a former classmate?
We are more than happy to assist you in locating former classmates! Check our online directory or contact us for information about how to get a copy of the inaugural UH Centennial Alumni Print Directory to reconnect with old friends. You can also call our offices at 1-877-UH-ALUMS (1-877-842-5867) or email us at alumnews@hawaii.edu, with your name and contact information, and we can help you locate your friend.

Q: How can I get a UH Alumni license plate frame?
One of the benefits of joining UHAA is that all new members receive a free license plate frame in their membership packets.

Q: How do I get more information on UHAA events?
You can visit our events page or you can subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, Nūpepa, to get updates on all UHAA and chapter events. Send your name and email address to Nupepa.editor@uhf.hawaii.edu if you are interested in subscribing.

Q: What does the name of your newsletter, Nūpepa, mean?
Nūpepa is the Hawaiian translation for newspaper.

Q: Who is the director of Alumni Relations?
Kevin Takamori '88, is the Executive Director of UHAA and the Associate Vice President of Alumni Relations at the UH Foundation.

Q: How do I start a UHAA chapter where I live?
If you live in a city that does not currently have a UHAA chapter, consider starting one on your own. For more information, please contact alumnews@hawaii.edu.

Q: How do I purchase a brick on the Legacy Path?
Leave your legacy on the UH Mānoa campus by purchasing an engraved brick on the Legacy Path. For more information, please contact alumnews@hawaii.edu

Q: How do I make a donation to the university?
Please visit the UH Foundation website for more information on making a gift to the university http://www.uhf.hawaii.edu.

Q: How do I purchase athletic tickets?
Visit the UH Mānoa Athletics website to purchase game tickets at http://www.hawaiiathletics.com or visit UH Hilo's website at http://vulcans.uhh.hawaii.edu/ for information on Vulcans sporting events..

Q: How do I get a copy of my transcripts?
You will need to contact the Office of Admissions and Records at the appropriate campus you attended to request a copy of your transcripts. Visit http://www.hawaii.edu/academics/admissions and click on your campus in the list on the left sidebar. Once you are in the admissions page, click on the hotlink that says "Office of Admissions and Records." This will direct you to the correct campus page, where you will find transcript and diploma information.

Q: What do I do if my name is not listed in the directory, but I am a UH grad? How do I get my name added to the online directory?
Please contact the UH Office of Alumni Relations at alumnews@hawaii.edu. Send us your full name, academic information, and your current address. Please mention that you are writing because you would like to update your information with us. We will be sure to verify your academic information with the Office of Admissions and Records and will add you to our database.

Q: I've lost my password to the alumni online directory, how do I get it back?
A: To retrieve your password, simply give us the email address you initially used to register with this site and we will automatically send you your username and password. Click here to retrieve your password.
