University of Hawa‘i Founders Alumni Association
In recognition of the many accomplishments of its graduates, the custom of recognizing the university's outstanding alumni began. The University of Hawai‘i Alumni Association continues this tradition today with its annual UHAA Distinguished Alumni Awards program.
The list below contains the names of distinguished alumni honored from 1951 to 1988 for their outstanding professional accomplishments, commitment to the community, and service to the university by the UH Founders Alumni Association, the forerunner of today's University of Hawai‘i Alumni Association.
Since 1988, the UH Founders Alumni Association has annually presented a "Lifetime Achievement Award" as part of the UHAA Distinguished Alumni Award Program. Click here.
