Sunday, December 6: Behind-the-Scenes Holiday Event at Winterthur, 11:15am, Winterthur Museum & Country Estate, Route 52 (5105 Kennett Pike), Winterthur. $35 per person. The New Castle County Alumni Club proudly presents their annual behind-the-scenes holiday event at Winterthur! After brunch, enjoy private conservation laboratory tours by UD graduate students enrolled in the world-renowned Winterthur Program in Early American Culture. 11:15 a.m. Check-in. 11:30 a.m. Brunch with remarks by Debra Hess Norris '77 '80M at noon. Participants divided in half for Lab Tours at either 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Sign up now for the tour time you prefer.) 3:00 p.m. Concert by UD Pearl String Quartet (This free concert is optional.) * Due to the special nature of this event, space is limited. $35 per person includes brunch, private tour of the conservation laboratories and a Garden & Galleries pass. When you’re not on the conservation lab tour, feel free to take a the 30-minute ride on the Garden Tram or explore the Galleries option - the Faces of a New Nation exhibition from the Met. Optional Yuletide tours at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. are an additional $5 per person. When you're not taking your lab tour, consider exploring Yuletide at Winterthur during tours at 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. Call 302-888-4600 for advance ticket sales. Mention you are attending the UD Alumni Brunch to receive the discounted rate of only $5 per ticket. (Regular price is $22 per ticket.) You will receive your Yuletide ticket at the event.

New Castle County Alumni Club Supports the 261st Signal Brigade The New Castle County Alumni Club worked with the Kent and Sussex Alumni Club to send care packages to the Blue Hens in Baghdad. At NCC alumni club events in Spring/Summer 2009, donations were accepted and then mailed to the Blue Hens in Baghdad.

New Castle County Alumni Club Board Members
Burt Hutchinson '00 BE - President - Burt, a member of the Class of 2000, is currently a partner of Fischer & Hutchinson and has been leading the firm and its predecessor since 2004. A football season ticket holder, Burt has also volunteered with the Middletown-Odessa Rotary Club and the Delaware Estate Planning Council.
Scott Bell '83 AS - Vice President - Scott graduated in 1983 with a degree in Computer & Information Sciences. Along with his wife Nancy Sparacino Bell '82, Scott served on the Parent Panel at DelaWorld 2005. Scott also director the St. John the Beloved girls basketball tournament for four years. Now, Scott, a father of two current UD students, is a sales manager for IBM.
Lalena Luna '00 AS - Special Events Chair - Lalena received her degree in psychology with minors in Spanish and disability studies information systems. A executive member of several student organizations (NAACP, HOLA, D#Sharps), Lalena also served as a Spirit Ambassador and a Blue Hen Ambassador. Lalena is currently back on campus as a program coordinator in the Activities and Programs Office.
Keegan Maguigan '07 AG - Young Alumni Chair - A member of the Class of 2007 with degree in Engineering Technology, Keegan was a member of the YoUDee mascot team as a student. Steve served as a Blue Hen Ambassador and a Spirit Ambassador while on campus. Now employed at VanDemark & Lynch as an engineer, Keegan is also an Eagle Scout and a music critic for e-zine popculturemadness.com.
Nina Bawa '02 AS - Communications Chair - Nina graduated in 2002 with degrees in Computer Science and Political Science and a minor in Educational Studies. An active member of the College Democrats while at UD, Nina is still involved in the political process having volunteered with the New Castle County Department of Elections. Currently, Nina is the Chief Deputy of the New Castle County Register of Wills.
