Past alumni club events have included:

• DC Alumni Club Flag Football Team - Entering the playoff tournament as the 40th seed after a 3-7 regular season finish, the DC Club defeated University of Florida (26th seed) and American University (8th seed), before falling to Johns Hopkins (9th seed).  These were the team's first ever playoff victories and next season promises more fun and success, so stay tuned for next season's registration.  If you missed out on this season's football team, keep your eyes peeled for the DC Alumni Club Co-Ed Softball Team signups.
• Alumni Club Happy Hour at Old Ebbitt Grill
• "Rediscover UD" Event - Meet and greet UD President Patrick Harker in the Hearing Room of the Foreign Relations Standing Senate Committee of the Dirksen Senate Office Building for one of a series of global gatherings giving alumni the opportunity to Rediscover UD on its Path to Prominence. Hosted by The Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr. '65, '04PhD, U.S. Senator for Delaware and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations
• Play for the UD-DC softball team
• A day at the Tarara Winery in Leesburg, Virginia
• Holiday party at the Fourth Estate Grille
• Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres at the National Press Club
