The Young Friends of Tufts Advancement (YFTA) is a Shared Interest Group of Tufts University Alumni Association comprised of alumni volunteers who graduated in the past ten years who are committed to remaining connected to Tufts, their fellow alumni, and giving back to the university. The mission of the YFTA board is to strengthen young alumni engagement and provide a platform through which we can develop sustainable practices to grow in our reach and strategies. Founded shortly after graduation by two 2003 Tufts alumni, YFTA now consists of over thirty volunteer committee members from graduating years 2003 to 2012 in Boston, New York, and Washington, DC. YFTA's Recent Stats:

In 2012, as a result of YFTA events and outreach, 225 young alumni in NYC and DC gave $34,338.
Over 300 Jumbos attended YFTA events in 2012.
We expanded to DC in 2012 and Boston in 2013.
