Local Alumnist Receives Prestigious University Honor

Gregg Doherty '55 was awarded the Syracuse University Melvin A. Eggers Senior Alumni Award at the 2009 Homecoming + Reunion weekend last October. He is a former member of the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board of Directors (from 2002 to 2009) and he is a current member of the Syracuse University Varsity Club Board of Directors.

SU LA Office

Syracuse University now has a presence on the west coast with the opening of a multi-service satellite office that offers social and educational activities for alumni, friends, parents, and future students. The SU in LA office can be reached at the contact information below:

Mark your calendar National Orange Day is March 24. Be sure to let Alumni Relations know what your club is doing in honor of SU's founding day so we can include it in the press release and on the website. 

A number of clubs are holding game watchings as the men's basketball continues its march to the Final Four.  If you are traveling to the Big East Tournament be sure to join us at Stout's on Friday, March 9 for a pre-game party/game watch from 5-9pm. $10 advance sale tickets, $15 at the door.
