Meet the SUPAC Board 

President - Andrew Laver
Andrew is a 2001 graduate of SU and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from the College of Visual and Performing Arts.  While enrolled at SU, Andrew was an on-air DJ, co-host and producer of the "Z Morning Zoo" on Z89 (WJPZ 89.1 FM), the student-run radio station on campus.  From there, Andrew was hired at HOT 107.9 (WWHT 107.9 FM) in Syracuse as a swing jock and member of the promotional staff.  Finally, while attending SU, Andrew was employed by the Syracuse University Admissions Office as a campus tour guide and by the School of Education as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant ("UTA"). 

Currently, Andrew is a business development analyst in the marketing department of Duane Morris LLP, a premier Philadelphia law firm ranked in the AmLaw Top 100 who represents clients throughout the East Coast and across the nation.  Outside of his involvement with SUPAC, Andrew is also an alumni representative for the SU Admissions Office attending College Nights at local high schools and conducing local interviews during the fall recruitment season. 

Andrew and his wife Jennifer currently reside in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Vice President - Jaci (Price) Pollock
Jaci, a 2003 SU Architecture graduate, and her husband, Wayne (a 2002 SU grad), currently reside in Alexandria, Virginia, where Wayne is obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University. 

They promise to return to Philadelphia in 2010 and to never root for the Hoyas.

Treasurer - Jenny (Dardzinski) Sacks
Jenny is a 2008 graduate of SU and earned her dual major in Psychology and Sociology.  Jenny has recently taken over the title as Club Treasurer from Rob Beck and the Board welcomes her!  Jenny and her husband, Jon (also a 2008 SU grad), currently reside in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Secretary - Chris Wallace
Chris, a 2001 Newhouse graduate, is the Senior Regional Manager for the Comcast Networks.  Chris
 and his wife, Sara, currently reside in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

Membership/Community Service - Emily (Murray) Wicks
Emily graduated from SU in December 2003 with a dual major in magazine journalism and Spanish.  She was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity, serving as treasurer, secretary and pledge class historian.  Emily also participated in Habitat for Humanity, spending spring break during her junior and senior years building homes in Anniston, Alabama and Slidell, Louisiana

Emily was born in Connecticut and has lived in Philadelphia since 2004.  Emily is a former marketer for a promotional company that wrote, produced and distributed marketing collateral and direct mail campaigns.  She is currently a troop leader for Brownie Troop 1397 in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.  Recently, Emily has returned to school to obtain her degree in secondary education - Spanish. 

Emily and her husband, Patrick, currently reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Immediate Past-President - Sekia (Strange) Jackson
Sekia graduated in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science degree in speech communication and policy studies.  She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and participated in many community service projects within the city of Syracuse.  Sekia was also a peer advisor during her sophomore year in addition to participating as a host to potential students during SU's Cultural Weekend.  While attending SU, Sekia was employed by the Dean's Office in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. 

Sekia recently received her MBA from Penn State University and launched her own wedding consulting business.  In addition to her involvement with SUPAC, Sekia is also an alumni representative for the SU Office of Admissions and an active member of other organizations and clubs in the Philadelphia Area. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sekia and her husband, Ray, currently reside in Philadelphia where she is employed as a wholesale analyst by Toyota/Lexus Financial Services. 


Immediate Past-Treasurer - Rob Beck
Rob is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner, CFPP, employed by UBS, and is the Vice President-Investments.  Rob has over 15 years experience as a financial consultant to high net worth individuals and small businesses.
 

A 1990 graduate of SU's Whitman School of Management with a degree in finance, Rob is also on the Board of Directors for the Morris Animal Refuge in Center City Philadelphia as well as Back on My Feet, a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of Philadelphia's homeless population by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.

Rob currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
