Syracuse Alumni Club of San Diego , although having a significant past in the San Diego Area has embarked on a more active campaign to enhance it?s benefits, not only to the SU Alumni in the San Diego Area, but providing a Support Group for current students and their families at SU.
We have reorganized the Club, with the objective in providing more Activities and Events to increase your level of participation in Club Events. With our mostly new slate of Officers, there is a new spirit of enthusiasm to build on.We have added our new Web Site to help increase the ability to communicate those Activities on a real time basis. We have implemented a concerted effort to build our email address list, to assist in notifying Club Members of Events and News for our Club. Consistent with our commitment to increase Area Alumni participation in Club Events, the Club has implemented a campaign to build and improve the accuracy of our email lists, and we are encouraging all Area Alumni to respond to our request to provide their current email address via email or phone. In the past year we held our traditional New Student Send Off Barbecue, gathered at Players Sports Bar, as well as homes of alumni in the area to root for the Orange Football and Basketball Teams, while greeting old friends and making many new friends, as well as potential business contacts
The Club is also encouraging those individuals who like to assist in our efforts or those who have ideas that they believe would help our Alumni grow and prosper or assist our current Students,to please contact any of the Club Officers, especially President, Jeff Farley, to convey those ideas.
We are planning a Fall Networking Event with all SU San Diego Area Alumni, which should benefit both those seeking to enhance their careers as well as those seeking assistance in reaching their objectives.
