SBU Chapter in Boston

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

Did you know there are over 2,000 Stony Brook alumni living in the Boston area?  We are looking for volunteers to organize a Stony Brook Alumni Chapter near you!  

The purpose of the Stony Brook Alumni Chapter program is to promote interaction between the Alumni Association and its family of alumni and friends throughout the country. Chapters are critical to acquaint graduates with one another socially, to provide a means to communicate to alumni and to encourage service through programs such as social and professional networking, community service, development and student recruitment.

Alumni volunteers are needed to organize a steering committee which will plan, organize, and host events and programs for the Stony Brook alumni living in your area.

Past Event: Stony Brook Alumni Reception and Basketball game - Stony Brook vs Boston University

Date: Saturday February 9, 2008 from11:00 AM to 4:00PM ET Description: An alumni luncheon at Canestaro, 16 Peterborough Street in Boston at 11:00am. A delicious buffet featuring an assortment of gourmet pizzas, soups, salad and soda.
