Alumni Grants
This grant program is hosted by the Stony Brook University Alumni Association.
It supports a wide variety of activities that enhance the student experience, promote tradition, support academic excellence, reconnect alumni to the university, and increase the interaction between students and alumni.
To be considered for a grant, please submit your application proposal to the Office of Alumni Relations.
Proposals should include a description of the organization planning the event or activity, an overview of the event, the level of alumni involvement, and the amount of the grant request. Other sources of funds should also be indicated on the application budget sheet. Please designate one person as your contact and include their name, phone number, fax, and email address on the attached application form. The Awards and Grants Committee will then review your request and notify you of the outcome. Please note,alumni should represent a significant portion of the attendees at events or activities. Completion of a summary report after the event is also a requirement of the application process. rant requests are approved quarterly. All requests must be submitted by the following deadlines.
