Heather Martin ()
Heather Martin writes, "Judith E. Klein, '69 submitted this note:

IN MEMORIAM: Dr. Patricia Bredel Neve, January 16, 1943 - March 20, 1996

Patricia Bredel was a French graduate student in sociology when I met her at SUNY Stony Brook in 1966. She returned to France to get married. (She later divorced.) Patricia was lovely, generous, and intelligent. Professionally, Patricia worked in France and gave lectures in her field of sociology. Privately, she loved to dance and have a good time. She was also talented. I was very touched when she gave me one of her lovely paintings, which I still treasure. We became friends when we were both young, and the friendship lasted until she died after a long illness. I still miss her. I would like those people who knew her when she was at SUNY Stony Brook to know that she is no longer with us."
