Jim Langlais (1998) has recently formed Rosner & Langlais, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim was previously a Partner at Alston & Bird, LLP. "My desire for a more flexible practice, lower overhead, and alternative billing arrangements drove me to leave the big law firm and open my own firm. I continue to practice all aspects of environmental law, real estate law, product liability law, and toxic torts, but have also expanded my practice to include advising young renewable energy companies. Daniel Bolia (2008, Valedictorian) recently co-authored an article that appeared in the Fall edition of the Texas Transnational Law Quarterly. The article is titled "Texas Two-Step or Mis-Step? How Texas Rule 122's General Appearance and Deemed-Service Provisions Violate International Law." The article is about the conflict between Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 122 and the federal procedures required by the Hague Service Convention when serving a defendant in certain foreign jurisdictions.

Lesli (Gordon) Barber (2000) and Jimmy Fitzpatrick are happy to announce their marriage on October 3, 2009 at the Daniel Caswell House in Austin, Texas. They currently reside in Austin, Texas. Lesli R. Fitzpatrick (formerly Barber) was given in marriage by her son Barry Barber on Saturday, October 3, 2009. She and her new husband Jimmy Fitzpatrick (an electrical engineer and Lamar University graduate)enjoyed a one week stay at the Marriott Resort in Kauai, Hawaii. They will continue to reside in Austin, Texas where Lesli works as the Litigation Manager and Staff Attorney for the Texas General Land Office.
