Chastiti Horne (1998)
Chastiti Horne (1998), a partner in Ebanks Horne Rota Moos, was honored by the Harris County judiciary, in conjunction with the Houston Bar Association, at the fifth annual Harris County Bench Bar Pro Bono Awards on May 1 at the Harris County Civil Courthouse. The awards program was established to recognize outstanding pro bono service through local legal service providers and to encourage the provision of direct legal services to low-income Harris County residents.

Daniel D. Horowitz, III (2002), a partner of the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend, has been selected for inclusion in the 2013 Texas Rising Stars listing as published in Texas Monthly by Super Lawyers. Amy Zolkoski ('07) and Taylor Cann are happy to announce their marriage on November 19, 2011, in Cestohowa, Texas. They currently reside in Houston, Texas, where Amy is an oil and gas attorney at Labanowski & Associates and Taylor is in-house landman for Occidental. One of our own, Mayzie Burke '85, passed away Sunday after a sudden massive brain hemorrhage that occurred early Friday morning. Her services will be held at St. John The Divine Episcopal Church chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 with a Celebration of her Life immediately following at the Heights Woman's Club, 1846 Harvard Street, Houston, 77008. We welcome and would appreciate your attendance to memorialize and celebrate Mayzie's life.
