Mentoring/Volunteer/Speaker

The Stetson University College of Law Mentoring Program coordinated by The Office of Career Development is a tool for alumni to help other alumni and upcoming graduates who may be seeking career-related information, insight, and advice. Mentors agree to share their knowledge and wisdom concerning career paths, job search strategies, and networking advice.

When working with a mentor, please remember the following:

Never ask for a job outright - as this is not the appropriate method
  • Research what you would like to discuss with the mentor before making contact
  • Note the manner in which the mentor would like to be contacted
  • Send a thank you letter after you talk with the mentor

If you have a question regarding the Mentoring Program, please call The Career Development Office at 727-562-7815 or email career@law.stetson.edu.
