Central Pa Chapter - Saturday, April 13, 1-4 pm. We have two charities involved - Caitlin's Smiles and Channels Food Rescue. They are located directly next to each other - and share a parking area. 

Caitlin’s Smiles, 3303 North 6th Street Harrisburg, PA 17110, will be able to handle 20 volunteers. We will package “craft gift packs” which will be given to children in local hospitals, other duties may consist of sorting books and organizing the warehouse.

Channels Food Rescue, 3305 North 6th Street Harrisburg, PA 17110, will be able to handle 10 volunteers. Weather permitting we will be doing outside gardening and landscape cleaning.

New England Chapter - Saturday, April 13, 1-4 pm, at YMCA Camp Ingersoll (94 Camp Ingersoll Rd., Portland, Conn.) We will be doing cleanup projects, landscaping, painting (weather permitting) and possibly some light carpentry.Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Feel free to bring work gloves or gardening gloves, the camp will supply them if you forget.The camp will provide water and light snacks. Kids are welcome!

New Jersey Chapter - Saturday, April 13 in Union Beach, N.J. Hurricane relief with Phi Mu Delta Fraternity. 25-30 students will be attending. We will meet at 9 a.m. at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19-21 S. 2nd Ave., Highland Park, NJ 08904 and will work until 1 pm. A lunch reception for the alumni and student volunteers will follow.

Farm at Walker-Jones Education Campus
Coordinated through Greater DC Cares Servathon


What: Volunteers will be creating two new gardens, both of which will require removing turf, tilling, composting, and raking. The garden will be planted with soy, sweet potatoes, and peanuts. The second garden will be planted with corn, runner beans, and heirloom pumpkins. Volunteers will also be prepping ground for blueberries, transplanting two fig trees, and building a couple rabbit hutches

Where: 1125 New Jersey Ave, NW , Washington , DC 20001 – 0.5 mile walk from Mt Vernon Square / 7th Street Convention Center Metro Station (Green & Yellow)

When: Saturday, April 27 – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

How to join our team: Sign up at our SU Alumni Team & Registration page now through April 22. There's a $25 registration fee/donation that gets you a Servathon t-shirt and supports the cost of tools and other equipment that we will be using at our project site.

After party location: After the service project ends, we’ll celebrate our team’s great work at nearby Old Dominion Brewhouse ( 1219 9th Street NW , Washington , DC 20001).
