BENJAMIN PAUL (2008) writes, "Fellow alumni,
I wanted to let you know that I'm starting an organization called CommuniTeach that makes it easy for community members to learn from each other for free.
We're in a competition for $10K in launch funds, and are close to winning. Would you please vote for us to win!?
http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/6091-CommuniTeach-learning-platform
Your vote will help us secure the funds we need to help Trojans teach and learn for free from one another.
For more encouragement, check out this funny vid about how CommuniTeach helped a super awkward man become a swinging stud.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV0pgGydlek
The competition ends Monday, so please please pretty please vote now and post on Facebook so others will, too.
Please, please, pleaseeee.
Thanks!
Ben"

ANN DINNER GROSS
(2001)
ANN DINNER GROSS (2001) writes, "I have been out of the Trojan loop for far too long...in the Gero world (I am MA, Gerontology, 01), I wrote a column called "A Daughter's Journal," chronicling my mother's illness and death in the nursing home and health care system (see:
http://www.anndgross.net
); I also worked with Bruce Vladeck (former HCFA Administrator under Pres Clinton) at Mount Sinai School of Medicine as his Director of Communications; teamed up with a Harvard MBA (MBA, '00) to create a book proposal on a brilliant caregiving system she came up with, but the publishing market is shrinking (has anyone noticed times have been a bit "challenging" or is it just me -- I'm kidding of course); also I design and make jewelry (see:
http://www.anniesearrings.com
) and am working with Commonwealth Care Alliance in MA (see
http://www.commonwealthcare.org
) helping them codify how they deliver primary care (Nurse Practitioner-centered model) at each of their 7 sites in MA. And looking forward to a good, sweet year, beginning with renewal for all of us on January 20th."

I retired while assigned to NASA at Kennedy Space Center, FL. I now work as an aviation consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. in No. VA.
