Dr. Julius Scott - Interim President of SSU

Dr. Julius Scott is serving as interim president until a national search concludes with the appointment of a permanent president for SSU. We wish Dr. Scott the best!

SSU Presidential Search/Advisory Committee

Dr. Jimmie C. Jackson, a member of the District of Columbia Alumni Chapter and Chairman of the SSU Foundation represents the SSU Foundation, while former Regent, Connie Cater, a member of the Macon Alumni Chapter, represents the SSU National Alumni Association, as members of the 2007 SSU Presidential Search Committee, along with 13 others representing various SSU campus and community groups.  Dr. Emily Crawford serves as Committee Chair.  The Board of Regents is expected to name a new president for SSU in early summer.
