NTID UPDATE
NTID Alumni Association: Change in Leadership
I am pleased to announce the change in leadership at the NTID Alumni Association (NTIDAA) Board of Directors (NTIDAABOD). Effective July 1, 2009, Erin Esposito, '96, '01 will begin her two-year term as Chair of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors. Her active participation and positive attitude during her two years as Vice Chair helped make NTIDAA successful. She replaces Carmen Sciandra, SVP '71, '74 who has served as chairperson of the NTIDAA Board of Directors. Her experience as a former NTID Alumni Relations Director, along with her boundless energy and ideas, are a great resource. We all are looking forward to working together.
Also elected are Vice Chair Howard Mann, '74, '84, and Secretary Angie Officer, SVP '83, '88. No strangers to the Alumni Association, they also will begin their two-year terms starting on July 1. Howard, a former NTID Alumni Relations Director, has served the NTIDAA in various roles including two terms as Secretary (eight + years) for the Alumni Association. Angie was one of the founders that helped implemented the Alumni Association.
We are grateful to out-going Chair, Carmen Sciandra for his enthusiasm and optimistic attitude which have helped make many of our events successful. Terrance Cantrell, '00 who served as Secretary, has been very valuable to the Alumni Association and we thank him for his many contributions.
On behalf of the board of NTIDAA and all of our alumni, please welcome Erin, Howard, and Angie to their new positions and wish them great success in leading the NTID Alumni Association.
