Michael Graziano (1985)
Michael Graziano (1985) writes, "Mikey Graziano was recipent of the first annual Chesapeake Bay Area Combined Federal Campaign Coordinator of the Year Award. He has served as a CFC volunteer since 2006, each year growing his agency’s respective campaign and in turn increasing the dollars raised for CFC charities. The 2009 campaign was no exception to the rule. With several years of experience under his belt as a CFC Coordinator, a record-breaking campaign was set out to be accomplished from the very beginning. In order to ensure this success, a campaign planning meeting was scheduled with the agency head -- or Installation Commander in this case -- before the campaign even began; a monetary goal was established and in turn support for the campaign was put into place at all levels. This CFC Coordinator partnered with Loaned Executives and advocated for the use of online giving in almost every tenant and department across the agency. This individual’s efforts didn’t stop there: he collaborated with other Coordinators from across the Chesapeake Bay Area, and from these cross-agency collaborations he incorporated into his agency’s campaign several new special event ideas; two such examples were an online auction and a CFC charity fair – and for the online auction this Coordinator was so dedicated to ensuring his campaign’s success, he stepped forward to donate his very own autographed Cal Ripken jersey to be auctioned off.
