Monica (Bowen) Trombley (School of Law, 2007 )
Monica (Bowen) Trombley (School of Law, 2007) writes, "Due to some difficulty in getting admitted to the NY & CT in a timely fashion, I opted to pursue work in the entertainment field at the advice of my Entertainment Law professor at QUSL. This led to an internship w/a known talent agency in NYC & one w/ One Way or Another Productions LLC, an up & coming indie film production company. A few months later, when I became admitted to the NY & CT bars, I was made a partner at OWOA and completed the legal work for our first, no budget feature film. The film is set to appear in 3 film festivals with the possibility of being sold to a distributor.

I have also been freelancing my legal services while the company is seeking full financing & just got retained for my first case & trial as a lawyer. I also have other potential clients and am working on entertainment & communications matters, none of which would have occurred at this stage of my career if I were working in a law firm."
