December 5, 2013
It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the
passing of our Chapter President, Rich Keefer. Rich had been fighting an
illness for some time and lost his battle earlier this week. Jan has informed
me that no flowers are desired and that in lieu of flowers donations can be
made to our Chapter Scholarship Fund of which Rich was so proud as well as a new
fund for Deer Head Hospital which has not yet been set up. Details on donations
and a future memorial service to be held after January 1st will be
forthcoming. Details should be available at our Annual Dinner on January 4th.
Please keep Rich in your thoughts as well as Jan and their son. Rich was a great
leader of our Chapter and will be sorely missed.
