*** DATE CHANGE *** GREATER HAZLETON CHAPTER of the PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ANNUAL DINNER
The Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting and dinner prior to the end of the program year. The Chapter would like to invite you to attend the 2013 dinner on Tuesday, July 9th at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums, PA. The event starts at 6:00 pm with an hour of an hour of social time and buffet dinner to follow - a cash bar is also available.
This year's featured speaker is Former Penn State Quarterback, Matt McGloin. A brief bio of Matt can be found HERE and an invitation flyer can be found HERE. RSVPs and payment are due in advance, but no later than Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The chapter will also review their program year at the dinner, Hazleton chancellor Dr. Gary Lawler will welcome all on behalf of Penn State Hazleton, and several door prizes will be awarded including a photo and football, both autographed by Matt McGloin.
All proceeds from the dinner will fund the Chapter’s endowed scholarship at the Penn State Hazleton campus.

The Chapter has recently created a new academic award at Penn State Hazleton! When fully funded, this award will assist a deserving student at Penn State Hazleton whose home address is within the greater Hazleton area.
