February 25, 2011. PSU Concert in Bethesda, MD with Penn State President Graham Spanier. On February 25 Penn State?s Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and the Centre Dimensions Jazz Ensemble will take center stage at the lovely Music Center at Strathmore (Bethesda, MD). Hosted by President Graham Spanier and sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association in partnership with the School of Music, the 5th annual President?s Concert will feature a wide-ranging musical program. November 19, 2010. 9pm-1am ET. November 18, 2010. 5:30pm ET at State College, PA. Penn State LGBTA students and alumni are invited to the Hintz Family Center on the University Park campus on Thursday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m. to watch the 1970's classic film "Boys in the Band" taken from the Off-Broadway play by Mart Crowley, and is considered a milestone in queer cinema. The film will be followed by a discussion period about what it was like to be "gay back in the day.? Pizza and soft drinks will be provided by George's Floral in State College.
