Jeneca is entering her third year in the classroom and joined the teaching profession as a New York City Teaching Fellow in 2007. She currently teaches fifth grade students with special needs in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in International Development Studies and received her master’s in Childhood Education with a specialization in children with disabilities from Pace University. Margaret V. Maher, 75, died peacefully at Mary Immaculate Hospital on June 22, 2007. Margaret's lifelong passion was nursing. She received her RN at Mary Immaculate Hospital School of Nursing; BSN at St. John’s University and Certificate in Nurse Midwifery at Yale University. Assistant Professor emerita of nursing at Pace University since 2000, she was an assistant professor of nursing at the college from 1974-2000. It was evident to her family and friends that Margaret respected her students very much.
