Fusco (New York, 1975) writes, "I just put out an Old New York photo book “The Third Avenue El Demolition in the Bronx - Tremont Avenue to Gun Hill Road” that contains photos that I took in 1974 and 1975 (with two from 2002). These pictures are taken from my private collection of almost 1400 photos of the demolition that I took and that I never made available before to the public. The companion volume to this book will be “The Third Avenue El Demolition in the Bronx - 149th Street to Tremont Avenue”, which will be available in early 2013. Margaret V. Maher, 75, died peacefully at Mary Immaculate Hospital on June 22, 2007. Margaret's lifelong passion was nursing. She received her RN at Mary Immaculate Hospital School of Nursing; BSN at St. John’s University and Certificate in Nurse Midwifery at Yale University. Assistant Professor emerita of nursing at Pace University since 2000, she was an assistant professor of nursing at the college from 1974-2000. It was evident to her family and friends that Margaret respected her students very much.
