We welcome all of our new and long-time members of the Ohio University Women's Alumnae Chapter of Greater Cleveland (OUWAC). We hope to see you at the upcoming events. The OUWAC is a non-profit service organization, and it operates solely on annual membership dues. To become a member please contact, Andrea Rocco 440-899-8115. Information about the Club
Founded in 1939
Purpose:
Provides service to the university through the establishment of scholarship Funds
Freshman Scholarships
Ruth Fowler Brown Endowed Scholarships for upper class women
We have donated over $218,000.00 to the university  
Promotes social contact among members

     Who can join?

• Any woman who has completed class work at Ohio University

• The wife of any alumni or former student

• Any friend of Ohio University

     Organization

• Divided into 4 sections (Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and West).  Each section holds its own meetings or activities and has a section chair and other officers

• 17 positions make up the Board

• City wide luncheons are usually held in the Fall and Spring 

• City wide Summer Social - at Blossom Music Center with the Cleveland Orchestra

• Major Fundraiser- Charter buses transporting siblings to OU for Sibs Weekend & Fall Auction Luncheon

• Service Project- Each section selects its own

• We're finalizing various committees for further involvement in the organization without the commitment of being a Board Member.
