GENERAL NEWSLETTER INFO:
The newsletter is now posted online at www.OberlinClubNYC.org in addition to the monthly email distribution.
As always, if you have an announcement that you would like in this newsletter,
please e-mail us at submissions@oberlinclubnyc.org.
GUIDELINES: If you are submitting an item, PLEASE include the graduation years
of the alums involved and PLEASE reduce press releases down to a paragraph or two of
the most salient details in plain text format. If you send overly long submissions, we will return it to you for editing.
The newsletter only goes out in plain text format. We can include some graphics on the website, but we wil not extract text event information from your graphics file so please include a text version with any graphics file.
RESTRICTIONS: The activity, event, announcement MUST promote, involve, or be of
specific interest to Oberlin grads in the New
York City area. We will try to send out a newsletter
in the earlier part of each month. Deadlines for submissions is the first of
the month. And please, try to give us plenty of lead time. We try to get the
newletter out at the beginning of the month, but we are doing this on a
volunteer basis, so sometimes it just doesn?t happen. The more lead time you
give us the more likely it is that we will be able to include your event in the
next newsletter. 4-6 weeks is ideal.
While we will make every effort to be even-handed and all-inclusive, we do
reserve the right to make final editorial decisions concerning newsletter
content. And as you might expect, the opinions expressed in this and any
upcoming newsletters are not necessarily those of Oberlin College,
Katherine Kornblaue, Peter Flint or any alumni club volunteers.

If you know Oberlin grads in NYC who are not receiving the newsletter and want
to, please forward this information to them.
