Many alumni are surprised to learn that tuition covers only 85% of a Muhlenberg education.  This financial model, however, is not unusual.  Tuition at Muhlenberg, as at most colleges, has never reflected the true cost of educating students.  The Muhlenberg Fund, the College's annual fund, is the vehicle we rely on each year to close the gap between what students pay and what it actually costs to educate them.

 A robust Muhlenberg Fund is a cornerstone of The Talents Entrusted to Our Care:  The Campaign for Muhlenberg College.  A larger, sustained annual fund will provide a margin of excellence, allowing Muhlenberg to provide high-quality education today while we shape our tomorrow.

When Should I Make My Annual Gift?

The fiscal year for Muhlenberg College runs July 1 through June 30.  All gifts in a given year must be received by June 30.

Some people think that unless they can participate at a "major" gift level, it is not worth contributing to The Muhlenberg Fund.  This is a common misperception.  Regardless of size, all gifts to The Muhlenberg Fund make a difference.  Each year, we rely on the ongoing support of all alumni, parents and friends at all giving levels.  For examples of what your gift can provide, click here.
