ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Since 1952, the Muhlenberg College Alumni Association has annually honored individuals whose activities in life are a significant benefit to the College and the Alumni Association.

Alumni Achievement Awards are the highest award given by the Alumni Association. They have been established in the following categories:

                                            Alumni Service to the College
                                           Alumni Lifetime Achievement
                                          Alumni Leadership
                                          Service to the College by a Friend


Alumni Recognition Awards
The Alumni Association has created the following awards to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of individuals in the following categories.

                                         Future Alumni Leader
                                         Heritage Alumni Recognition Award
                                         Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Recognition Award
                                         Tricorn Award

Nomination Requirements
A candidate will be considered when we have received a minimum of two letters of recommendation.

Letters of support may be written by fellow alumni, family, friends, faculty, staff, students or co-workers. Please advise those writing letters to be as specific as possible when explaining why this person is being nominated, and how s/he meets the criteria for the award. For example, it is not sufficient to say your nominee is a nice person who has been involved with many organizations over the years. Be specific. Name the organization the person is, or was, involved with; state how his/her involvement has impacted the organization; and describe how the nominee's involvement exemplifies Muhlenberg's ideals of powerful outcomes, lives of leadership and service, and commitment. submit your nomination in writing to:

Nominations will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year. The annual deadline for nominations is November 15th. 

Awards are presented at the Alumni Achievement Award Luncheon during Reunion Weekend. Future Alumni Leader Awards are presented at the Senior Champagne Brunch before Commencement.
