MOUNTIE FOOTBALL WINS BACK-TO-BACK NATIONAL TITLE

Congratulations to our Mountie Football Team for capturing its second consecutive state and national community college championship title by defeating previously undefeated City College of San Francisco (11-1, #2 state and national ranking), 34-7, at Mt. SAC's stadium before 7,500 enthusiastic fans. This win marked the Mounties' fourth consecutive trip to the state championships and represented a stellar performance with such a decisive win over the Northern California champs. "Our team came out and played a near-perfect game," said an elated Bob Jatrab, head coach."I'm so proud of our team achieving this back-to-back championship in front of all of our supportive fans from across the college."

MEN'S SOCCER WINS BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONSHIP!

The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team captured their second consecutive State Championship defeating host College of the Canyons, 4-0. Freshman Forward, Luis Fuentes scored three goals to lead the team and be named tournament MVP. The Mounties dominated the game, outshooting the Cougars, 24-7. Mt. SAC finishes the 2010 season with another outstanding record of 19-1-4.Congratulations to Head Coach Juan Sanchez, his staff, and to the Men's Soccer Team!
