Montelle Small (1946) writes, "Right after graduation in 1946, I went with American Export Lines to India[ with classmates Art Lutomski and Bob Bickford]. Later I sailed with Cecil Benson on several Export Line ships. Eventually ended up with Esso [ Exxon] as I got married and wanted the vacation time [ 3 on and 1off]. Finally ended up as an engineer for Travelers Insurance Co. as a safety engineer/ boiler-elevator inspector. Became manager of the Portland office in 1962 and stayed until retirement. I have now been retired from Travelers for as long as I worked for them [ 27 yrs]. I belong to the Portland Marine Society which is now composed of mostly MMA grads. Also have a grandson [ Tucker Johnston] who graduated several years ago and is 1st engineer on a large fish processing ship working out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska. If I had it all to do over, I wouldn't change a thing. MMA is a wonderful educational institution and Travelers is a wonderful company. However, I am not happy with my golf handicap !!" In 4 months of promoting The Challenge, my wife & I replaced my shipping income and it has continued to go up since then. We earned two FREE BMWs within our first three weeks and now have helped over 30 people qualify for a FREE BMW. My wife & I were featured in the September 2011 issue of Success From Home Magazine for our accomplishments. We want to share the ViSalus message of Life, Health & Prosperity to everyone we can. www.mpouliot.myvi.net mpouliot@gmail.com 207-415-4507" Submitted on Sep 4 2011.
