Using the Online Community Features

Search for friends and make new connections with the Online Alumni Community. Membership is free and exclusive to alumni only. All you need to do to take advantage of all the community has to offer is to proceed through the registration process to establish a User ID and password.

Here are some of the member-only services available through our Online Alumni Community:

• Personalized Profile: Each user has a personal "My Alumni Page" which will be first page you visit once you log-in. (See figure below.)
  
• Manage Your Own Directory Listing: View your directory listing and use the update feature to change your Directory Profile. MSM Alumni Affairs is sent these changes automatically, so this is an easy way to provide your institution and fellow alumni, with current personal information and professional or academic accomplishments. Remember: You control your profile and the information that you wish to share with other alumni.

• Alumni Directory: As a registered member of the Online Community, the directory is a great resource for personal and professional networking and an easy way to keep up-to-date on fellow alumni. You can perform either a simple ("Basic") search or an advanced search using one or all of the search fields provided. (See figure below.)

• Class Notes: Find out what your fellow alumni are up to these days. Share your news and events by submitting a note.
  
• Job Listings: The JOBank Newsletter a listing of job announcements in Performance, Education, and Arts-Related fields provided to alumni as a free service. Compiled by the Office of Career Development, the JOBank Newsletter is updated monthly and includes full- and part-time job announcements culled from several publications and direct- mail notices.
• My Bookmarked Profiles: You may bookmark alumni profiles for easy future reference so there's no need to search over and over for the same friends and contacts. This is a great way to keep up-to-date on what others are doing!
